I don't know if we were lucky or not but when we were in Naples it was hot but not too humid. The humidity is what really kills me. Before you know it you will be posting pictures of Vesuvio with a cap of snow on it!
We came back to Sweden last night - someone said it was 38 degrees in Rome on Saturday, and I believe it because it was HOT - and here the rain is pouring down and I doubt the temperature is above 15. After two weeks in bikini it's back to jeans and wool socks. The heat in Amalfi really didn't bother me at all, even when we weren't on the beach, but now I'm freezing. I'd be happy to switch places with you, anytime...
Hi there, We were hoping to come to Naples in the next couple of days for a day trip, but with this thermometer reading, I think we'll wait til it cools down :) It's hot and nasty in Florence too right now.
Gil, the heat/humidity wasn't too bad until this past week really. Ah snow...
Annika I want to wear jeans and wool socks!!!! Switchiamo :)
Monika I can imagine Florence is baking too. The first time I went to Florence was in July a few years ago and that was tough. If you're sight seeing here I'd wait until it cools a bit. Though the city is quiet just now...
Delina, I'm so jealous. The weather in Glasgow is shocking just now, a bit like Sweden, cold and very wet. I can't believe a couple of weeks ago all I wore was a bikini and flip flops, all a distant memory. I even had my Uggs on today, in August!
You'd be sick of it after a couple of days, trust me. It has been the worst summer that I can remember and since I got back from Capri I haven't had one day without rain. Not only is the grass greener here it is also longer as it's too damn wet to mow the lawn!

If it's hot and nasty in Florence it will definitely be better in Naples as you have the sea breezes!

Good to see you on here Jo. How I'd love to be in Scotland wearing Uggs just now. Which goes to prove, the grass really is always greener :)

You can swap places with us all if you wish....it is so cold here in Oxfordshire, rain, wind and and yuk. We need some of Italy's weather.
I found you on Nik in Pos's blog...
