Lunedi

It's been a million trillion degrees plus humidity today - well at least it felt that way. When I got in I found that the newly put up (yesterday) mosquito net had melted it's way off and on to the floor. It was only held up by velcro, but the one in the kitchen stays up and that's held up in the same way. ?? The new one gets the midday sun though. So it's back to closing the windows as soon as it's gets to evening time just in case we get some unwanted visitors.

I'm off to water the plants on the balcony now as it's after 10pm so I can. Before 10 it's not allowed. I'm a star condomina I'm sure you'll agree ;). Wish I could say the same for the ball bouncing kid upstairs. :S

Hee, the ball bouncing kid upstairs. It reminds me of the ball bouncing KIDS that lived upstairs. I believe they also wore lead shoes and were allowed to throw bowling balls. They were also extremely fond of throwing things onto our balcony and climbing precariously. I would constantly hear, "Francesco, scendi!!" or "Basta, Mario!" and I would have quiet for about two minutes until the noise started again and I would start fuming again.
(I thought I had got over them living upstairs, but apparently I am still harbouring mass rage). Oops.

It's hot here too. I hope you can cool off.

It's true when they say that someone is (well, was) always worse off than yourself. At least there is just one kid upstairs. I think he has got some of those lead shoes though.

Come on it can't be more just a million degrees. It's funny I called my mom and she said "but isn't there a nice breeze, like always". I wouldn't call this scirocco nice.
I won't comment on the bouncing ball because my cats may sound like they have lead shoes on they they get excited. How can cats make so much noise?

Oh man, we just put up mosquito screens a couple weeks ago. I don't know what we would do without them! Hopefully, you can get yours back up real soon.

I'm sorry about the heat. I don't miss the mosquitos from where I used to live. Keep cool and free from those nasty little bugs.

NYC we have a mad barking dog on the other side too. TBH I don't mind him, he's really old so I feel a bit sorry for him.
