Becks is off to America and pouting Posh is going with him! I'm talking about David Beckham in case you live somewhere where they're not in the papers constantly - lucky you. The Spaniards should be happy, not sure about the good people of LA though.
He'll be paid £500,000 a WEEK which is 5 times more than he got at Real Madrid and insists the move is for football and not for money. Yeah right. That is an OBSCENE amount of money.
I heard that he's happy about the move but he's not keen on having to learn another language, he didn't do too well with Spanish, so this move may be equally as challenging. :D
Apparently Posh will have some competition from the other footballers wives especially as the captain's girlfriend is a model-actress type. I'm sure that Posh will use her marketing head and make the other girl her new best friend...
Here is a *great* picture of them, a bit old but classic. They thought Tom and Katie's wedding was fancy dress it seems. I bet Tom and Katie were glad he couldn't make the wedding wearing a cardi like that. Hee hee.

It could just be my love of all things English (my new thing is going to be tracing my roots back to where we came over from) and my rekindled London obsession but I've got a weakness for Posh and Becks. That sweater is so ridiculous it's great. I can't wait to see how they integrate into LA.
This story totally floored me. Oh, please, AS IF it's not for the money, you kidding me? Well, we all know the money certainly isn't going to pay for groceries for his wife cuz she's not eating a thing now is she? At least I can sleep at night now knowing that Katie has a pal coming to town, whew... I was worried about her. ;-)
But, I guess that Becks is a great footbal player but a sad man in real life: the wife is a plastic woman and she take care only of the money.
Rumor has it that he's looking for a Hollywood career after he's done playing; and Vicky is apparently thrilled to be living next door to Katie. Btw, it's not like he actually needed the money, he's got more than enough already.
I'm not sure they'll get far with acting careers, but as you say Annika, it's not like they need the money.
